Our famous Re Shi, or hot stone massage, involves smooth, heated stones to promote relaxation, reduce stress and tension, improve blood circulation, and alleviate chronic pain. The warmth from the stones also helps to increase blood flow and circulation, further promoting relaxation and healing.
In addition, increased blood flow and circulation can encourage the release of hormones such as serotonin, which can further aid sleep and help with distressed body muscles. Our massage is famous, so give it a try!
Hot stone therapy is a specialized massage that uses smooth, flat, heated basalt stones positioned along your spine, in the palms of your hands, along your legs, and between the toes. This type of stone has a rich iron content that retains heat, making it perfect for this massage.
Hot stone massage detoxifies the body, and you should drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol for the next 24 hours. Also, try to avoid any strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Please be aware that you may be approached in our parking lot by someone who asks you if you have an appointment for a massage, and will try to get you to follow them to get the massage you have scheduled. This person is NOT affiliated with Moon’s Massage Spa, and works for another spa nearby, and has been attempting to take our customers to their location which is nearby. Please be sure that you come to Moon’s Massage Spa, which is upstairs on the far left side of the building.
