Our famous Dali “Deep Tissue” massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue and aims to release chronic muscle tension and adhesions, or knots, in the body.
This massage can help release tension and promote healing, releasing stored tension and calming the nervous system. Deep pressure on specific body areas breaks down scar tissue, promotes healing, and improves the range of motion.
The benefits of this massage are numerous, positively impacting an individual’s physical and mental well-being and improving flexibility and range of motion.
Deep tissue massage will remove the knots from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate and chronic joint and muscle pain. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
After a deep tissue massage, you can expect to feel a little tender in the area that has been worked. You shouldn’t feel active pain; if you do, discuss this with the massage therapist.
Please be aware that you may be approached in our parking lot by someone who asks you if you have an appointment for a massage, and will try to get you to follow them to get the massage you have scheduled. This person is NOT affiliated with Moon’s Massage Spa, and works for another spa nearby, and has been attempting to take our customers to their location which is nearby. Please be sure that you come to Moon’s Massage Spa, which is upstairs on the far left side of the building.
